Ciprian is a seasoned Emerging Markets finance professional and investor with 20 years of experience in corporate finance, investment management, private equity and corporate & investment banking in Romania, the Balkans, USA and the UK.
Benefiting of Western graduate education and in-depth exposure to an international professional, academic and cultural environment, in both mature and developing markets, Ciprian has a well-rounded set of technical and numerical abilities coupled with diplomacy, interpersonal and communication skills with a diversified universe of counterparts of various backgrounds.
Among Ciprian's former direct reports, there is the CEO for CEE of a multinational telecom company, a partner of a international private equity fund, the former CEO of a large investment fund, the CRO of a large investment fund, as well as other C-level or senior professionals in leading financial services firms in Romania and abroad.
In time, Ciprian developed a career focused on general management and corporate governance in commercial banking, investment banking, capital markets and investment management.
Ciprian has an MBA (with Beta Gamma Sigma honors) with dual concentration in Finance and General Management from Tulane University in New Orleans, USA and a BA in International Business from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania. Ciprian is a graduate of UniFuture program at IMD Lausanne, Switzerland.

Mircea has a strong management track record, both within a leading local law firm as well as within a private equity environment, and with first-class exposure to all facets of the legal services, from business law advisory to Court pleadings.
Mircea represented governmental and non-governmental institutions, multinational corporate clients in disputes before the Romanian Courts and in numerous arbitration procedures, was responsible for coordinating complex privatizations, due diligence and negotiation of transaction documentation, complex merger and acquisitions processes.
Part of his Private Equity experience, Mircea served as Vice-Chairman of the Board of a leading Romanian non-ferrous metals company and Vice-Chairman of the Board of one of the largest domestic mineral water companies. Mircea coordinated the entire spectrum of legal issues of the invested companies including commercial litigations, capital markets transactions, sale purchase agreements, secured and unsecured loan documentation and negotiation, collective bargaining agreements, negotiations with trade unions, staff layoffs, planning and implementing extensive restructuring and redundancy plans, social compensation plans, advising on the M&A activities, due diligence processes, privatizations and tender processes.
As a leading Romanian commercial lawyer, Mircea practice covers dispute resolution, mergers & acquisitions, financing, competition and has developed a particular expertise in the mineral resources industry.
Mircea graduated from the University of Bucharest Law School and is a member of the Bucharest Bar.
