Innova Human Capital reports a healthy development of its sunchoke crop in Central Eastern Romania. Sunchoke ("topinambour" or "Jerusalem artichoke", rich in inulins, naturally occurring polysaccharides recommended for the use of patients suffering from diabetes) is not necessarily a new crop to Romania, although its use has been discontinued.
IHC plans to reintroduce the widespread cultivation of sunchoke, also supporting the establishment and development of a related supply chain ecosystem in Romania and the neighboring region.
